Explore Malaysia -- Langkawi Day 2 (Duck Tour & Langkawi Cable Car)

On the second day in Langkawi, my old folks wake up early for breakfast. Our room did not come together with breakfast buffet, so we have our breakfast in locals "mamak stall" (indian stall) eating roti prata and mixed rice with curry chickens (heavy breakfast!)

Our plan for the day was to go to Langkawi Cable Car & SkyBridge. I believe all the lucky stars were by our side as each of the attraction did not requires us to queue. The crowds started only after lunch. With GPS instructions, we managed to find our way to the attractions.

Oriental Village is next to the attractions. I saw a booth at the entrance of the Oriental Village selling tickets for the Duck Tour + 3D Art Museum for RM70. Immediately, we decided to buy the package as we wanted to give our parents to experience the Duck Tour.

*BUT guys, don't rush to buy tickets here..you can get better rates & prices at the Cable Car's counters. Trust me!! *
Make a comparison yourself here:

Duck tour was really really fun! My parents & siblings enjoyed it so much too as the "duck" can travel on land and can float in water too. The duration of the tour is 45 minutes, and will pass through the Telaga Harbour & The Danna Hotel. Between the journey, we can enjoyed the beautiful landscapes and scenery. We saw a few yachts parked at the harbor and I snapped a few photos too.

and i'm really obsessed with this lighthouse!

after the duck tour, we went to purchase Cable Car's tickets and decided to keep the 3D Art Museum to the last session. Luckily the queue was not too long and we managed to buy the Cable Car + SkyDome for RM20/pax (this is the price for Malaysian, RM35 for foreigners)

Nothing much too interesting about SkyDome as we were being instructed to sit and view the 3D Screen for around 5-10 minutes. I felt dizzy! Suggest those unable to take 3D, please don't watch it.

Langkawi Cable Car is one of the major attraction in this island. Journey from the base to the peak of Gunung Machinchang is around 15 minutes, which we will be able to stop in the middle station before ended on top. 15 minutes felt like 15 years for me! I can't make myself feeling comfortable and I was nervous the whole journey up and down. I was grabbing my mum's hand the whole journey!

Yet, the scenery was breath-taking and amazing! An eyes-opening experience!

All of those boats! This is giving me major wanderlust.

And I feel like so much of the best food I have traveling is from little random food stalls I come across. Yum!
