Explore Malaysia -- Langkawi Day 2 (Duck Tour & Langkawi Cable Car)

On the second day in Langkawi, my old folks wake up early for breakfast. Our room did not come together with breakfast buffet, so we have our breakfast in locals "mamak stall" (indian stall) eating roti prata and mixed rice with curry chickens (heavy breakfast!)

Our plan for the day was to go to Langkawi Cable Car & SkyBridge. I believe all the lucky stars were by our side as each of the attraction did not requires us to queue. The crowds started only after lunch. With GPS instructions, we managed to find our way to the attractions.

Oriental Village is next to the attractions. I saw a booth at the entrance of the Oriental Village selling tickets for the Duck Tour + 3D Art Museum for RM70. Immediately, we decided to buy the package as we wanted to give our parents to experience the Duck Tour.

*BUT guys, don't rush to buy tickets can get better rates & prices at the Cable Car's counters. Trust me!! *
Make a comparison yourself here:

Duck tour was really really fun! My parents & siblings enjoyed it so much too as the "duck" can travel on land and can float in water too. The duration of the tour is 45 minutes, and will pass through the Telaga Harbour & The Danna Hotel. Between the journey, we can enjoyed the beautiful landscapes and scenery. We saw a few yachts parked at the harbor and I snapped a few photos too.

and i'm really obsessed with this lighthouse!

after the duck tour, we went to purchase Cable Car's tickets and decided to keep the 3D Art Museum to the last session. Luckily the queue was not too long and we managed to buy the Cable Car + SkyDome for RM20/pax (this is the price for Malaysian, RM35 for foreigners)

Nothing much too interesting about SkyDome as we were being instructed to sit and view the 3D Screen for around 5-10 minutes. I felt dizzy! Suggest those unable to take 3D, please don't watch it.

Langkawi Cable Car is one of the major attraction in this island. Journey from the base to the peak of Gunung Machinchang is around 15 minutes, which we will be able to stop in the middle station before ended on top. 15 minutes felt like 15 years for me! I can't make myself feeling comfortable and I was nervous the whole journey up and down. I was grabbing my mum's hand the whole journey!

Yet, the scenery was breath-taking and amazing! An eyes-opening experience!

Review: Faith in Face Hydrogel Mask

Ever since new semester kicks in, I have been really really busy with almost everything. Times never seem enough for me. I have being traveling a lots lately between Kuala Lumpur & Singapore by bus express. It was tiring, of course but both of us never felt boring for the activities arranged. But unfortunately, i have been neglected my skin lately. I did felt my complexion is dull and my pores are getting so huge *again*
I have been trying out Faith in Face masks recently. Faith in Face, the no.1 Hydrogel Mask Brand in Korea, was first launched in 2012 by a multi-national team of young comestic experts from Korea, Britain and Canada after 3 years of research and development.

Faith in Face believes in using only organic and naturally derived extracts, such as vegetable collagen, essentials oil, Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid and free from parabens and mineral oils. Most importantly for animal lovers, Faith in Face DOES NOT perform animal testing on their products.

How cool is that right?
There are 5 different variants available:
1) After Shower Look Hydrogel Mask
2) Nourish Me Hydrogel Mask
3) Black and White Film Star Hydrogel Mask
4) Miss Invisible Pore Hydrogel Mask
5) Hold Me Tight Hydrogel Mask

I was privileged to receive first 3 masks to try out :)
How to use:
1) After cleansing, carefully remove the thinner protective film from the top and bottom masks to expose the smooth surface
2) Apply the smooth side of the masks to your face
3) Remove the thicker protective film and adjust fit on top and bottom masks to the curves of your face
4) After 30 minutes, remove the mask and discard, gently pat your face with fingertips to help skin absorb the remaining essence
My review:

When I first opened the parcel, my eyes went BIG!! The masks packaging are so vintage and adorable. Every piece of mask packaging has a girl's photo and personally I thought it is cute. Honestly, applying hydrogel mask onto my face was a difficult and messy procedure but luckily they split the mask into two sections which make everything easier. Once application, my skin felt cooling and no irritation occurs.

The hydrogel mask will not dried up even after 30 minutes, instead I found that my skin was refreshing and moisturized pretty well. I can noticed that my pores were getting smaller and complexion was brighter than before.

I did not edit my skin condition in the photos above..and honestly I was amazed with the results in photo 4!  Faith in Face did a good job in creating such an amazing beauty product!!

Where to get:

Anyone interested can purchase from Watsons for S$14.50 (box of 3 sheets)

Little Black Dress

We went to a wedding dinner on the weekend in Kuala Lumpur, Mister's friend was getting married with her best friend. One thing i love attending wedding is I really enjoyed seeing newly-wed couple staring into each other eyes with full of love. Everyone attending the event with a blessing hearts hoping the couple will stay together forever.

Another thing I always got tired about was thinking what to wear to the event. I have a closet full of clothes yet I always ended up with nothing to wear. Mister always got frustrated whenever I said so, as his clothes occupied little corner only in the closet.

Finally I found out that "little black dress" will definitely making her way into my closet. I definitely have love-hate relationship with black dress. Black dress is classic and versatile for any events -- but as my blog's title is Jose Lovin' Colors, I definitely love colorful outfits. Colors brings out happiness and energy to anyone.

Meanwhile, my love to this "little black dress" will grow stronger and both of us will be pretty good friends.
